Xiaomi has launched its budget big-screen smartphone in India the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch 720p HD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It one of is the cheapest smartphones with a 5.5-inch display which is covered with Gorilla Glass in the market.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card. Y1 Lite is a dual sim smartphone with dedicated MicroSD card slot. It comes with an all body metal design.
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 Lite packs a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP snapper for selfies. The smartphone runs MIUI 9 which is based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. It is backed up by a 3080mAh non-removable battery. It comes in Gold and dark grey color. The Redmi Y1 Lite is priced at Rs. 6,999 and will go on sale via Amazon and Mi.com on November 8.
