Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with codename MET7/MEE7 leaked on TENAA in which we can see the design of the phone with a full-screen 18:9 display, unibody metal design, cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the rear. This leak only reveals the images of the upcoming device but not the specification.
However, according to the latest rumors, the Redmi Note 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 630 coupled with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. It is confirmed that the device will come with new 18:9 screen this is a 5.99-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 display protected by 2.5D curved glass. The phone runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat.
The Redmi Note 5 packs a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It is a dual sim device with Hybrid sim card slot. It also sports the Fingerprint sensor and Infrared sensor. It will be a 4G VoLTE device backed up by a 4000mAh battery.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will come in several colors like Black, Rose Gold, Red, Pink, Gray, Gold, White, Blue and Silver colors and it is expected to be launch in mid-November in China.
