Later in February, we got confirmation from the CEO of Xiaomi about the successor for the Mi Mix. And looks like he’s planning to make another announcement about the Mi Mix 2.
Being said that, he announced that Mi Mix 2 will be designed by the same designer, Philippe Starck himself. Going back in time, we got some earlier reports of having a 93% screen-to-body ratio with a curved AMOLED display. We’re also getting some leaks including that the Mi Mix 2 will support an embedded fingerprint reader, though.
Apart from that, the Mi Mix 2 is likely to have the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset and will have an upgraded sound system too. The Mi Mix 2 could probably launch in November with an IP68 dust and waterproofing since the Mi Mix was launched around the same time too.
