Samsung SM-G9298 Flip Phone with Android OS and Dual Displays announced

Samsung has their latest Flip Phone in the segment. Flagship 8 is a premium flagship Android smartphone which is going to be the successor for the last year’s W-2017 (SM-W2017). The design of the device is almost the same from the last model and features a T9 keyboard. It has a 3D glass and metal design comes with a Multi-function hotkey in the keyboard.

The Samsung Flagship 8 – Flip Phone features a Dual 4.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED displays. It is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. The storage on this device is a 64GB internal memory with expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD support and a 4GB of RAM. It also supports Hybrid Dual Sim slots and has fingerprint and heart rate sensors on the back.

Coming to the camera optics, a 12MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and LED Flash. And, a 5-megapixel front facing sensor with f/1.9 aperture. You can find all the connectivity features such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2X2 MIMO), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS + GLONASS, and NFC. The battery capacity on this device is a 2300mAh with fast charging support.

The colors available for Samsung Flagship 8 are Black color. The device is going to be available soon in China and pricing details are not yet out.
