OPPO has launched their latest flagship for 2018 in India the Find X. The Find X is a bezel-less smartphone with a sliding mechanism which houses the front camera along with sensors for face unlock as well as the rear camera is also in the slider.
The OPPO Find X sports a 6.42-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Panoramic Arc bezel-less display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The screen has the highest screen-to-body ratio of 93.8%. The smartphone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It is a dual sim device with dual 4G VoLTE support.
The OPPO Find X doesn’t have any kind of fingerprint scanner but it has dedicated sensors similar to iPhone X’s Face id which pops out when you wanted to unlock the phone. The sliding mechanism also houses the rear and front camera. On the rear, there is a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 16MP and 20MP whereas it has a25MP selfie shooter on the front. The slider is quite new in modern smartphones but we don’t know whether it is durable or not.
The OPPO Find X also don’t have the water resistant, wireless charging, stereo speakers and a headphone jack. The battery on the smartphone is a 3,730mAh which can be charged by OPPO’s VOOC charging (same as Dash Charge from OnePlus). It is an overall good phone from OPPO but definitely not the future of smartphones.
The OPPO Find X will be available in Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue colour at a price of Rs. 59,990. It will be available exclusively from Flipkart and another offline retailer from August 3rd but pre-orders are starting from July 25th. OPPO has also confirmed that they will also launch the Find X Lamborghini Edition in India soon.
