After the launch of the Oppo F3 Plus, Oppo has launched their newest offering in their “F” series at an event in Mumbai today. The F3 is the predecessor to the F3 Plus launched back in March. Also at the event, Oppo launched the new jersey for team India and that reveals that Oppo will be the official sponsor India’s Cricket Team as well.
The Oppo F3 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS In-Cell Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. It is backed up by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750T processor clocked at 1.5 GHz along with Mali-T860MP2 GPU, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card slot up to 256 GB.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Color OS 3.0 on top of it. The camera on F3 comes with a 16 MP + 8 MP front cameras with 6P lens whereas there’s a 13 MP rear camera with PDAF as well. What’s good to mention is that oppo came up with a triple card slot tray which can be used to insert Dual SIM cards as well as microSD card at the same time. It is equipped with a fingerprint sensor and is juiced up by a 3,200 mAh battery.
The Oppo F3 will be available in offline stores as well as online through Flipkart exclusively. Priced at Rs 19,990, the Oppo F3 will be available starting from May 13th, 2017 in Gold and Rose Gold colors whereas the pre-orders will start today until May 12th, 2017.
