OnePlus 3 gets the Oxygen OS Open Beta 8, Android Nougat 7.0

OnePlus has released the OxygenOS 4.0 Open beta 8 based on Android Nougat 7.0. As it is a beta version, expect endless bugs, So think twice before installing the OS. The biggest issue is you can’t go back to Marshmallow after flashing to Nougat. You need to contact OnePlus customer care support to get back to Marshmallow. The Android Pay won’t work and performance might go down.

    • Notification Direct Reply
    • Custom DPI Support
  • Added Status Bar Icon Options

  • Added Quick Launch For 3rd Party Applications

  • Improved Shelf Customization

Known Issues:

  • Android Pay may not work correctly

  • Some stability/performance issues

  • After upgrading to Android N, you will not be able to directly downgrade back to M builds.
