Motorola Moto X Play lands in India for Rs 18499

Motorola Moto X Play is finally launched in India for just Rs 18,499. It was revealed way back in July and today it was launched officially in India. Moto X Play is the mid-range smartphone which will compete with the likes of Xiaomi Mi 4, Oneplus One, Honor 6 Plus and Zenfone 2.

The Moto phone sports a 5.5 inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Play runs on the Google’s stock Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and will get Android M in coming months. It packs a 64 bit Snapdragon 615 Octacore processor with Adreno 405 GPU. The chipset packs 2 GB of RAM with 16/32 onboard storage which is expandable up to 128 GB.

The Moto X Play shoots a 21 Megapixel rear camera with dual tone flash and a 5 Megapixel front shooter. The camera is a big improvement over earlier variants of Moto X. The smartphone has a huge 3630 mAh battery which is i liked the most. It is a 4 G LTE device supporting 3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.

Moto X Play is exclusively available on Flipkart, starting from today midnight. The 16 GB variant is priced at Rs 18,499 and 32 GB for Rs 19999.
