Moto X4 with Dual Cameras and 5.2-inch display announced

Lenovo owned Motorola company has announced Moto X4 at IFA 2017 in Berlin. This device is going to be the successor for Moto X Style of 2015 launched smartphone. The main highlights of Moto X4 are the Dual camera setup on the back. The design is nevertheless the same old from previous devices but this time X4 has glass on the back and fingerprint sensor below the display.

Moto X4 has a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 508 GPU. Coming to the storage, it comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can be expanded by a MicroSD card. Speaking about the software, it runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and has a mere Stock Android UI experience.

Let’s discuss the exceptional thing on the device i.e.; the camera. The device features a 12MP + 8MP dual camera setup on the rear with LED Flash. The camera features the same Bokeh effect option like iPhone 7 Plus and now recently Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Some of the intriguing features of this dual camera are Ultra-wide angle shot, Professional mode, Depth detection and depth effects, Selective Focus, Selective Black & White (beta), Background Replacement (beta), Spot Color, Landmark/Object Recognition, Scan barcodes/QR codes/Business cards, Panorama, Slo-motion video, Best shot.

On the front, it has a 16MP front facing sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The device boasts a 3,000mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging technology which is capable of giving six hours usage in just 15 minutes of charge. The X4 also has some add-ons such as Amazon Alexa AI inbuilt. There are also other features such Moto gestures etc. The X4 comes with USB Type-C on the bottom and has Wireless Sound System software that allows the Moto X4 to connect simultaneously up to four Bluetooth devices. 

The color options for Moto X4 are Super Black & Sterling Blue. Details for pricing are yet to be revealed and Moto X4 is likely to launch on September 2nd.
