Intex adds a new smartphone into their Aqua series of smartphones range, the Aqua S2. That being said, Intex has made the cheapest smartphone available in India with a fingerprint scanner.
The Intex Aqua S2 comes with a 5-inch VGA IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz coupled with 1 GB of RAM and an 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is quite a good offering at this price.
The phone comes with 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera too. The most interesting part is that it comes with a fingerprint sensor which actually makes it the only smartphone available with fingerprint sensor at a very low price. For connectivity, it comes with 3G HSDPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. It gets its energy with a 2,450 mAh battery under the hood.The Intex Aqua S2 is available in three colors – Champagne, White, and Grey. And is priced at Rs. 4,990.
