It was a pleasant day in Hong Kong that we recently got to know about the Huawei’s new smartphone announcement. Earlier announced as the Enjoy 7, Huawei renamed it to Y7 Prime.
The Huawei Y7 Prime comes with a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720) 2.5D curved glass display. Under the hood, we are able to see an Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. Apart from that, we get a 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card slot.
It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 on top of it. Having said that, there is a 12 MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash as well as 8 MP front-facing camera. Fingerprint sensor is in-built and connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS + GLONASS. We get a 4,100 mAh battery on the standard variant whereas 4,000 mAh battery on the lower variant.
The Huawei Y7 Prime is priced at around Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 16,000 approximately and will be available in three colors – Gold, Silver and Grey. It’ll go on sale on Huawei vMall today onwards.
