Huawei launched their Huawei Mate 9 back earlier this month at an event in Germany. And now, Huawei wants to make a smaller budget variant to be available for the users. And thus, Huawei released the Mate 9 Lite in China now.
The Mate 9 Lite comes with a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080) Full HD 2.5D curved glass display. Under the hood, it runs a Kirin 655 ( 4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz) 16nm octa-core processor coupled with Mali T830-MP2 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM built-in with an internal storage of 32 GB and otherwise 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB storage.
The memory can be expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow onboard with EMUI 4.1 on top of it. It comes with Dual Sim support as well. It comes with a 12 MP + 2 MP camera with LED flash and an 8 MP front-facing camera. It does have a fingerprint at the back as well and supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. To juice up the phone, you get a 3,340 mAh battery.
The Huawei Mate 9 Lite is available in three colors – Gray, Gold, and Silver. The details about the pricing are not yet specified, though.
