HTC U11 Life Android One Smartphone announced

HTC has announced the U11 Life under the Google’s Android One program and it is running latest Android 8.0 Oreo with guaranteed monthly software updates.  HTC is also planning to launch the U11 Life along with HTC’s Sense U.I. only in North America.

The U11 Life comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD 1080p Super LCD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630  Octa-Core Mobile Platform coupled with 4GB of RAM with 32GB/64GB internal storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card. HTC has implemented new “liquid surface” design language in which two glossy panels meld into a metal frame.

The U11 Life packs a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and 4K video recording. On the front, there is 16MP snapper with f/2.0 aperture for selfies. It also houses a fingerprint scanner and rated at IP67 for dust and water resistance. The smartphone lacks the 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C headphones with active noise cancellation in the box. It is backed up by a 2600mAh battery with support for QuickCharge 3.0.

The HTC U11 Life will be available in Sapphire Blue and Brilliacoloursck colors. The U11 Life with Sense U.I. and 3GB RAM is priced at $349 (Rs. 22,560 approx.) and will be available on November 3rd, in the US exclusively via T-Mobile. The Android One model is priced at €395 (US$ 462 / Rs. 29,880 approx.) for 3GB RAM variant and 4GB RAM model costs £349 (US$ 460 / Rs. 29,740 approx.) in Europe and UK.
