HTC U 11 “Squeezable Smartphone” launched in India

HTC launched their U 11 globally back in Taiwan last month. Seems like HTC is all set to launch their upcoming HTC U 11 in India too. HTC has already sent out invites to most of the media publications out there.

For your memory, the HTC U 11 comes with a 5.5-inch (1440 x 2560) Quad HD Super LCD 5 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It runs on an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU clocked at 2.45 GHz with Adreno 540 GPU. Apart from that, the HTC U 11 comes in two variants – 4 GB RAM with 64 GB ROM and a 6 GB RAM with 128 GB of ROM. The internal storage is based on UFS 2.1 technology and is expandable via microSD card slot up to 2 TB (still wonder if 2 TB microSD cards available).

Coming to the OS, the HTC U 11 runs the Android 7.1.1 Nougat with HTC Sense UI and HTC Edge Sense technology. Turning to the camera, we have a 12 MP HTC UltraPixel 3 rear camera with dual tone LED flash as well as a 16MP front-facing camera. It is IP67 dust and water resistant as well. Having a fingerprint sensor, it comes with connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1. It is juiced up by a 3,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology as well.

The HTC U 11 is priced at Rs 51990 which will go on sale on offline as well on amazon.in. It’ll be available in various colors – Amazing Silver, Sapphire Blue, Brilliant Black, Ice White, and Solar Red.
