Asus ZenFone 4 Max announced with Dual Cameras and 5000 mAh Battery

Asus has unveiled the first smartphone in the ZenFone 4 series Asus ZenFone 4 Max which features a massive 5000 mAh battery. This is said to be one of the first out of the five ZenFone smartphones expected to launch this month.

Asus ZenFone 4 Max comes in two versions – Snapdragon 430 (octa-core) and Snapdragon 425 (quad-core). It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display covered by a  2.5D curved Gorilla glass. It comes with 4GB of RAM and packs 16/32/64GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Zen UI on top.

There is a dual camera setup on the rear of ZenFone 4 Max which has the dual 13MP camera on the back. This camera setup has a lot like LG’s implementation in which one 13MP camera has an 80-degree lens and the other one have a 120-degree wide-angle lens for capturing landscape and group shots. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with f2.2 aperture. The ZenFone 4 Max supports dual Nano-SIM cards. It supports fast charging and can be used as a power bank as well. The built-in 5000 mAh battery promises up to 46 days of standby time on LTE, up to 40 hours of talk time on 3G and up to 22 hours of video playback.

The new Asus ZenFone 4 Max has been launched exclusively in Russia starting at RUB 13,900 (roughly Rs. 15,000) for 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. As of now, there is no word from the Asus on international availability. But we will keep you updated as soon as we get any official information.
