Design
YU jYUice is one the stylish looking power banks available in India. It feels solid in the hand and has candy bar design. The device has a metallic grey finish on top which looks stunning. The power bank from YU features 5.5-inch size diagonally. It is little heavier compared to Mi 10000 mAh power bank. The YU branding is at the bottom of the device.
It has one Micro USB Port for charging the power bank. Two Standard outputs, one with 5V 1A and another one with 5V 21A. It has two standard USB ports to charge two smartphones at a time. Unlike other power banks, the YU jYUice doesn’t have ON/OFF button. The device has an LED light to indicate the battery life. The red light shows the power bank need to charged and a green light indicates it is fully charged.
According to Saurabh Sharma, the general manager of Micromax, Lithium Ion batteries are prone to blast. So instead of Li- Ion, they used Li-polymer which are safer to use. This power bank can fully charge a 2000 mAh battery 5 times. After testing this device, we will do the full review in a few days time.
The final price of YU jYUice is yet to be announced, but M R P on the box indicates Rs 1199. Going by the competition they might be priced at Rs 999.
Hi
1. Can you provide a video review of the power bank?
2. How about its backup can it provide atleast a 4.5 full charge for a 2000mAh device?
3. Is it safer like the Mi Power Bank?
4. Does the absence of On/Off button could discharge battery continuously ?
1. We will be opening a new Youtube channel soon.
2. Expect at least 4 times of full charge.
3. Yes it is safer because of Li-Polymer.
4. No, it doesn’t but it is very difficult to know remaining percentage.
