Xiaomi has announced their Note smartphone phone for the year. It’s the Redmi Note 5A and is under a budget category like always. It’s not completely a Redmi Note but is a cheaper model with low-end specifications.
Redmi Note 5A sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by 1.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU. The device comes in two variants, 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage and 3/4 GB RAM with 32/64 GB of internal storage with dedicated microSD card support up to 128GB.
The cameras are different on each variant, one with a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera. And, the other with a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and 16MP front-facing camera with LED flash & OmniVision sensor. The higher variant has a fingerprint sensor on the back and both the variants come with 3000mAh of battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A will be arriving in Champagne Gold, Rose Gold and Platinum Silver colors and comes with a price tag of 699 yuan or Rs. 6,720 approx. The other high-end variant comes with a price tag of 1199 yuan or Rs. 11,530 with 64GB storage. The smartphone will be on sale from August 22nd in China.
