The upcoming Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 has been found in many live leaks and renders. The leaks and render are confirming that the display would be an 18:9 panel. The official statements are yet to come from Xiaomi themselves but it is also highly expected to have a Dual Camera setup on the back. It is going to be the successor for Redmi Note 4 and the specifications are similar.
The Redmi Note 4 was already listed on a Chinese Online Shopping website, giving us a hint of the device’s launch getting near. Now the complete expected specifications of Redmi Note 5 has been leaked. The Redmi Note 5 will be powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 SOC which is a 14nm processor. The similarities are only in the internals and the other aspects of the device will be very different from Redmi Note 4. The front display is the major change in the Redmi Note 5 compared to Redmi Note 4.
The display of Redmi Note 5 is said to come with a 5:99-inch size of the screen with Full HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio as said before. The storage is said to be a 3/4 GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for expandability. Coming to the optics, it is said to feature a Dual 16+5-megapixel camera at the rear and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. The software is said to come with MIUI 9 which runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and there is no information on Android 8.0 Oreo update on behalf of Xiaomi but can be expected to upgrade it with OTA updates.
