Xiaomi’s popular wearable Mi Band gets the updated version Mi Band 1s. First gen Mi Band was launched last year in July for the price tag of Rs 999. Still it is one of the best-selling fitness bands in India. The latest Mi Band 1s is officially launched in China for $16 (Rs 1057).
The Mi Fitness Band comes with heart rate sensor which sounds cool for low-cost fitness wearable. The design is almost the same as its predecessor which comes with the aluminium body. The band gets the heart rate measurement without adding any accessories. Like earlier one, Mi Band 1s can track your sleep and vibrates on an alarm. It comes with IP67 water resistance technology.
The Mi Band 1s gets the power from 45 mAh battery. The company is promising up to 20 hours of standby which is not that band. But in earlier Mi Band, it was up to 30 days of standby. It weighs about 5.5g with an ultra light body. The Fitness band supports Bluetooth 4.0 LE and has LED notification for messages and calls. The Mi Band 1s will go on sale from November 11 in China
