Xiaomi recently launched the Oreo beta program for the Mi A1 and started giving the Oreo update to the beta testers who are enrolled in the program. But the latest news is that the Xiaomi is rolling out stable Android 8.0 Oreo stable build to all the users.
The Android Oreo update for Mi A1 has a size of 1107.4MB and this update also contain the December Android security update with the v7.12.29 build. The build version of the Android Oreo for Mi A1 is v7.12.29 and to get this update users need to be in the December update with version 7.12.19 then only they can get the latest Oreo taste.
As of now, the Android 8.0 update is rolling out in phases so to reach all the Mi A1 users it might take a couple of days. But when it will arrive the user will get a pop up on the notification menu. If you want you can also check the update manually by going to your phone Settings > About Phone > System Updates > Check for update. It is recommended when your device is updating it should be plugged in or at least 50 % charged.
With the new Oreo update, you are also going to get fast charging feature on your smartphone which was earlier confirmed in the beta update.
