Xiaomi Mi A1 ‘Android One’ with Dual Cameras launched for Rs. 14999 in India

Xiaomi has launched their new “A-series” in the market. The main highlights of this device are Android One and Dual Cameras. Many people were waiting for Dual Camera smartphone from Xiaomi and they finally managed to bring that this time. They have also teamed up with Google to have stock UI and has promised to get the Android 8.0 Oreo within 2017 and will be the first device to receive Android P.

Xiaomi Mi A1 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D curved glass LTPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with 650MHz Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with expandable memory up to 128GB via microSD.

The Mi A1 runs on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) and is upgradable to Android 8.0 (Oreo). About the optics, it has a Dual 12MP rear camera one with a wide-angle lens and other with a telephoto lens and with an aperture of f/2.2 and f/2.6. On the front, it has a 5MP sensor for selfies. It supports 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C for charging and data transfers. It boasts a 3080mAH of the battery.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 will be available in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colors and comes with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. The device will be exclusively available on Flipkart and Mi.com from September 12th.
