Xiaomi has recently launched their Mi 5 with a Unique camera. The Camera is a big improvement over its predecessors.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 Camera comes with a brand new 16 Megapixel Sony IMX298 sensor, which takes details of any image to the next level with sharp focus. But the most unexpected feature was the 4 Axis Optical Image Stabilization that Xiaomi showed up in the event in comparison with iPhones 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
These days we see that cameras come mostly with 2 Axis OIS and only a few smartphones come with a 3 Axis OIS. But the one on the Xiaomi Mi 5 is really very very impressive and can achieve much more stability and clear shots even closer too.
For the camera geeks out there, good news is that the Mi 5 camera sensor has phase detection pixels for much faster autofocus and it uses deep trench isolation to prevent light from leaking between individual pixels. Xiaomi has shared a few official camera samples that look impressive.
Xiaomi has also added a video which compares the Mi 5 camera to the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus. Take a look at it!
Hopefully, there are no Full res images out there but hope we’ll get them soon when released. Once the gets released we’ll take our hands-on the phone. Stay tuned to AndroidJunglee for more news.
