Xiaomi hits 1 million sales in India in Q3, 2015

Xiaomi, this company needs no introduction which is one of the most popular Chinese brands. Although the company lost his first spot to Huawei in China but in India they are doing exceptionally well. Xiaomi sold more than one million devices in India in Quarter 3, 2015. They had 45% quarter on quarter growth in 2015.

According to the stats, Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, Mi 4i, Mi 4 and Mi Pad had an increasing demand in Q3. Some credit goes to online festive sales like Amazon Great Indian Sale, Flipkart Big Billion Days and Snapdeal Diwali sale.

On his personal Facebook profile, Manu Jain (Head of Mi India) said “We had our best ever quarter in India with 1+ Mn devices sold in Q3, and 45% quarter-on-quarter growth in 2015. We are humbled and thrilled by your love and support. You guys are awesome!”

Hugo Barrad, the co-founder of Xiaomi said “Big day for Xiaomi India team! We’re celebrating our biggest quarter ever in India. We sold over 1M devices in Q3 (Jul-Sep) and saw 45% average quarterly growth in 2015. Thanking all of you India Mi fans for all your support and feedback”
