So what is encryption? Why does it matter to me? What’s up with it and WhatsApp?

What is Encryption?
In short, Encryption is a process of encoding messages so that only authorized parties, such as the sender and receiver can access/read the message.
Why Does it Matter to us?
If your messages are encrypted, That means nobody, including Whatsapp, Facebook, and the government will be able to read your messages.
What’s up with it and WhatsApp?
Now that all messages on WhatsApp are 100% encrypted, you’re personal messages, will stay personal.WhatsApp even allows you to check if you’re chat between you and the receiver is completely secure,You can do this by tapping on the yellow bubble and tap verify or go to chat info, you will then see a code which you can scan with the receivers phone to check if your chat is 200% secure.
