Wammy Passion X is the latest flagship phone from emerging Indian brand Wickedleak. Wammy X joins the family of passion series with Wammy Passion Z and Wammy Passion Z+. This is the first smartphone in the world with Hydrophobic Technology which keeps the water away. Wammy Passion X is prized at Rs 22,499 is which is bit high. On paper the Specifications look great specially with Water Resistant technology. At MWC 2014 many popular smartphone brands like Sony and Samsung are trying to catch up waterproof technology. Earlier we saw the rumor of Micromax Splash which was a water proof smartphone. It seems every brand wants to look different providing special features with attractive price tag. Wammy rolled out Kitkat update to their devices which is a first Indian Brand to do so.
Wammy Passion X comes with 5 inch Full HD IPS Display Supported by Dragon trail glass. The wickedleak phone runs on Android 4.2 powering 1.7 GHz true Octacore Processor ( Mediatek MT6592 ). Last year Intex launched its first octacore phone dubbed as Intex Aqua octa. Wammy Passion X packs 13 Megapixel back shooter with 5 Megpixel front shooter. The Wickedleak Phablet carries 2 GB of RAM supporting 16 GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 64 GB. Wammy Passion X flauts 2500 mAh removable battery.
Wammy Passion X is a great phone with some nice specs but prized a little bit high at Rs 22,499. It is available on wickedleak site in white variant only. You can expect kitkat update for Wammy Passion X.
