Vivo has announced a couple of smartphones at an event in China. They are Vivo X20 and X20 Plus with both the devices having a 2.5D curved 18:9 displays on the front. And, Dual cameras on the back. The screen-to-body ratio’s of these devices are 85.3% and 86.11%. Both of the devices have Snapdragon Chipsets. The smartphones also get ‘Face Wake’, face unlock feature that can unlock the phone in 0.1 seconds.
Vivo X20 sports a 6.01-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage with expandable memory up to 256GB with a microSD card. It boasts a 3245mAh battery with fast charging.
Whereas Vivo X20 Plus features a 6.43-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 Super AMOLED display. The Plus model is also powered by the same Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU. The storage is 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage with expandable memory via microSD card. The battery it has is a 3905mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.
Both the devices run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Funtouch OS 3.2 on top. The fingerprint sensor sits at the back of the device. The cameras are also the same with Rear Dual 12+5 MP sensors with F/1.8 aperture and OIS. And, on the front, there is a 12MP shooter with soft LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.
The Vivo X20 and X20 Plus will be coming out in Gold, Rose Gold and Matte Black colors. The Vivo X20 is priced at 2998 yuan ie., Rs. 29510 approx. for 64GB version and 3398 yuan i.e., Rs. 33448 approx. for 128GB storage variant. The Vivo X20 Plus is priced at 3498 yuan which is Rs. 34428 approx. The pre-orders of these smartphones will start from September 22nd and goes on sale from September 30th.
