Vivo’s X20 Plus was shown at the CES 2018 as the phone features the World’s first ever In-display fingerprint scanner made by Synaptics, that lets the user unlock their smartphone through one-touch fingerprint scanning directly on the smartphone display. The device first got certified by TENAA in China.
The Vivo X20 Plus said to sport a 6.43-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18: 9 Super AMOLED display. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory with expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD. It runs on Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat).
The device also features a 12MP rear camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, OIS and a secondary 5MP camera. On the front, it has a 12MP shooter with soft LED Flash and f/2.0 aperture. Other connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS. The smartphone boasts a 3905mAh battery with fast charging.
Vivo has confirmed that the smartphone will be unveiled on January 24th. It is calling it Vivo X20 Plus in-screen fingerprint edition. The Vivo X20 Plus UD will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, Black with Gold and Matte Black colors and the price is rumored to be 3,698 Yuan which is Rs. 36770 approx.
