Vivo V5 with 20 MP Front Camera launched in India for Rs 17980

As we have expected, Vivo has finally launched their Vivo V5 into the Indian market. And also as expected, they came with a front-facing camera-centric device just like Oppo.

The Vivo V5 features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720) display out of the box. Under the good, it is powered by a MediaTek (MT6750) octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz coupled with 4 GB of RAM along with 32 GB of onboard memory. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based FunTouch OS 2.6 out of the box as well.

It features a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a selfie-perfect 20 MP front-facing camera with a LED flash as well which is called moonlight flash. We get a fingerprint here as well which is expected to be fast I guess. It is a water resistant sensor, so you won’t have a problem in unlocking the phone with wet hands. There is VoLTE (Voice over LTE) support for the Jio network (or any future VoLTE networks in the future) and it would help with the HD voice and video calls. On the other hand, to juice up the device, we get a 3,000 man battery.

Along with the Vivo V5, Vivo also teased he Vivo V5 Plus which is going to feature Dual front-facing cameras. But we don’t know about anything else since it was just a teaser.

You can pre-order the Vivo V5 for Rs. 17,980 from any retail stores (from both online or offline market). The pre-orders will be take from tomorrow i.e. from 16th November to 25th November. The V5 will be available to all the consumers from 26th November.
