Sharp as expected announced their new Bezel-less smartphone as AQUOS S2. Sharp has initially started the trend of bezel-less displays. Now they have announced yet another spectacular device with decent specifications. The device features a fingerprint scanner which is right beneath the display and said to be world’s narrowest which is integrated right into the home button placed beneath the display.
The Sharp Aquos S2 sports a 5.5-inch (1080 x 2040 pixels) Full HD+ LCD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device comes in two variants with one being powered by an Octa Core Snapdragon 630 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU and another variant is powered by the latest Snapdragon 660 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU. The storage options are also divided into two, 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage & a 6GB RAM and a 128GB of inbuilt storage.

The device supports Dual Sim and runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The cameras are a 12+8 MP rear facing dual sensors with LED Flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. It has a battery capacity of 2930mAh and 3020mAh on each model and supports Quick Charge 3.0.
The Sharp Aquos S2 will be available in Black, White, Blue and Green colors and is priced at 2499 yuan for the Snapdragon 630 variant and goes at a price up to 3499 yuan for the Snapdragon 660 variant. The AQUOS 2 will goes on sale from 14th August in China.
