Samsung’s mid-range smartphone line up has been updating very frequently in the recent days. The company now launches a new successor for the last year’s Galaxy J7 Prime as J7 Prime 2. The mentionable characteristic of this phone is it comes preinstalled with Samsung Mall app that offers Visual search just by clicking an image of the product using machine learning and Samsung Pay Mini that lets you transfer money using wallets just by scanning the code. These were already existing on the Galaxy On7 Prime earlier this year and now J7 Prime 2 joined the list.
Speaking about the specifications, the Galaxy J7 Prime 2 comes with a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD TFT display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection. This smartphone is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7870 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory with expandable memory up to 256GB with a microSD card. The device supports Dual Sim cards and runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Coming to the camera, it comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED Flash. On the front of it features the same 13MP front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture. Home button on the front works as both the button and the fingerprint sensor which is embedded. The other connectivity options are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS. The device possesses a 3300mAh of battery capacity which will in-turn makes the device usable for a day.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime will be made available in two colors, Black and Gold and comes with a price tag of Rs. 13,990. It is said to available in the Online stores as well as the Offline retailers simultaneously in the Indian market.
