Samsung announced Galaxy S8 and S8+ with Infinity Display and Much More

After many rumours and lot of anticipation, Samsung has finally announced Galaxy S8 and S8+ at its New York event. A lot of leaks have been out on the internet on these devices. The S8 and S8+ come with Infinity Display, which makes the display of the phone flows towards the edges.

Thus, the device feels boundary-less on the hand and makes it the best to experience. Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8-inch display and S8+ with 6.2-inches, where both the devices have a resolution of Quad HD+ and with a resolution of 18:9 and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Samsung is trying to bring back the trust on their products as they faced a huge criticism for Note 7. Samsung has removed its iconic home button on the device. This is a huge change on the device and placed software buttons instead. Also, the fingerprint scanner is now on the back of the device.

Under the hood, Galaxy S8 and S8+ is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 835 SOC with Adreno 540 GPU and the other variant comes with an Octa-core Samsung Exynos 9 series 8895 processor with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU. With 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. S8 comes with a 3000mAH battery and S8+ with 3500mAH battery. It also has an Iris scanner.

About the camera, this smartphone has a 12MP dual pixel rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ comes in Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver, and Maple Gold colors. The Galaxy S8 is priced at $750 (Rs. 48,660 approx.) and the Galaxy S8+ costs $850 (Rs. 55,140 approx.). It also comes with earphones tuned by AKG by Harman in the box, which will be available separately for $99 (Rs. 6420 approx.)
