Xiaomi is all set to disrupt the budget smartphone market of India with the launch of new Redmi 6 series of phones. They have launched their latest Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 and the Redmi 6 Pro phones in India.
The Redmi 6A is the cheapest offering form Xioami and it sports 5.45-inch HD+ display. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and is available in two variants of storage 16GB and 32GB.
In the camera department, the Redmi 6A houses a 13MP shooter on the back along with a 5MP shooter for selfies on the front. It is backed up by a 3,000mAh and runs on MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo.
The Redmi 6 is the replacement of the Redmi 5 which was launched a few months back. It sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display and powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. It comes in 3gig of RAM along with 32GB or 64GB of storage.
On the imaging front, it packs dual rear cameras which consist of a 13MP+5MP sensors and there is also a 5MP front-facing shooter for selfies. It is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android Oreo with MIUI 9 on top.
The Redmi 6 Pro is the first smartphone formXiaomi on a budget which comes with a notch. It features a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display and powered by Xiaomi’s favourite Snapdragon 625 SoC. It comes in either 3gig 32GB or 4gig 64GB storage variants.
On the imaging front, it has a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 12MP+5MP shooters and there is also a 5MP sensor on the front. It is energised by a 4,000mAh battery.
The price of Redmi 6A starts at Rs 5,999 and will be available for purchase in a flash sale on Amazon. The Redmi will cost Rs 7,999 and will be available exclusively via Flipkart. The Redmi 6 Pro is an Amazon exclusive device which starts at a price of Rs. 10,9999.
