RED is the leading company in high-end professional cameras but last year they also announced their first smartphone the Red Hydrogen One. The smartphone was even up for pre-order in July 2017. But after even year we don’t have any word about the launch or any specification of the device.
Recently Red Hydrogen One has been spotted on the benchmarking platform Geekbench. The listing of the phone really that it houses the outdated processor Snapdragon 835 which was found in last gen flagships like OnePlus 5.
Apart form Snapdragon 835 the RED Hydrogen One will offer 6Gig of RAM and runs on Android Oreo 8.1. The smartphone will feature the 3D holographic display on which a user can enjoy the 3D content without any need for special glasses.
The RED Hydrogen One is also modular as it also has mods which are very similar to the Moto Mods. These mods include a camera-mod which is claimed to boost the imaging capabilities of the device.
As of now, the RED Hydrogen One will be exclusive to the US and sold via Verizon and AT&T, starting at a price of $1,295 for the aluminium variant whereas the higher end Titanium version costs $1,595.
