Razer has started sending the invites for the Razer Phone 2 launch event which is scheduled for October 10. Razer has a confirmed that they are going to launch the successor of the original Razer Phone. It is also going to be the second gaming smartphone from Razer.
If we talk about design there will not be any big changes in the Razer Phone 2. And the popular leaker Roland Quandt has also tweeted that the Razer Phone 2 might come with Razer’s Chroma LED effects built-in.
The Razer Phone 2 will (highly likely) finally have Chroma LED effects built in. They're working to use an LED controller from Texas Instruments to make this happen so the phone lights up when notifications come in.

Razer Phone 2 has already been leaked on Geekbench and AnTuTu which gives us the brief idea about the specification of the device. It is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage and running Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. But one thing to note that the phone is rumoured to come with QHD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio instead of 18:9 or any kind of notch.
We are expecting to see some killer gaming phone from Razer on October 10.
