Qualcomm has said that “It is 35% smaller and uses 25% less power than previous designs, and is engineered to deliver exceptionally long battery life, lifelike VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augumented Reality) experiences, cutting-edge camera capabilities and Gigabit Class download speeds”. Snapdragon 835 now has a full support of Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 technology which is 20% more faster and 30% more efficient than the Quick Charge 3.0 and charges the device from 0 to 50%, in just 15 minutes of time.The processor also has Qualcomm Haven security suite with support for fingerprint, iris scanning, facial recognition and voice print and other security features that are designed to safeguard your personal information.
The attracting features of Snapdragon 835 are 4 x Kryo 280 Performance CPUs at 2.45GHz and 4x Kryo 280 Efficiency CPUs at 1.90GHz, supports LTE Dual SIM Dual Standby, VoLTE with SRVCC to 3G and 2G with HD and Ultra HD Voice (EVS) and CSFB to 3G and 2G. It supports a Qualcomm Adreno 540 GPU with OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.0 full with Vulkan and DX12 support. And, Supports up to 4K Ultra HD on-device at 60 fps and comes with 4K Ultra HD output and a DisplayPort and USB Type-C support.
