If you disliked the design of the previous Pixel phones, then you might now say that these are actually better compared to the one that you saw last year.
The Pixel XL 2 (taimen) appears in the leaked renders provided by Android Police today. Rumors revealed earlier that the this year’s Pixel is being manufactured by LG themselves. Turns out they’re actually doing a better job at that. According to the renders, the Pixel XL 2 looks much similar to the one that we see last year.
What seems to be changed this time is that the phone now has a bezel-less display similar to that on the Galaxy S8. The display is going to be 6 inches as leaked by XDA earlier for the Pixel XL 2. At the back, we see a much bigger camera lens this time compared to the last generation Pixel. We’re able to see the same glass and aluminum back just like the last year ones.
Apart from that, there are rumors turning toward the Pixel 2 that it’ll come with a “squeezable” display just like the HTC U 11. And I think that would be a blatant copy and we won’t appreciate that either. Hope that this year’s Pixel will launch a bit earlier and will have some sort of scope to gain some of the markets too.
