OnePlus 6 has finally rolled the much-awaited update to the Oneplus 6 which brings portrait mode to the selfie camera. The update has a version OxygenOS 5.1.6 and it is available in Europe as of now but will be available across the world in few days as the rollout is taking place in phases.
The highlighting feature of the update is the portrait mode on the front camera which was one of the waited features of the OnePlus 6. The update also includes the battery percentage icon to the status bar as it was not available in the previous build.
The size of the update is 223MB and you have to wait for few days for the official rollout in India. But if you want the update now you can use VPN to get the latest update.
The Oxygen OS update fixes some of the issues from the related to dual sim as many users complain about the signal issue in OnePlus 6. The portrait mode is available for front camera and the live preview of bokeh on front and the rear camera is also available. Now you can preview the live bokeh effect in real-time on the OnePlus 6.
At the time of launch, there is no battery percentage indicator in the status bar which is removed to save the space around the notch. But OnePlus listened to the community and added the battery percentage back to the status bar.
As we know the OnePlus 6 is a dual VoLTE device, now with a new update it also got support for the idea VoLTE. Now you can enjoy VoLTE services from Jio, Airtel, Vodafone and idea on the OnePlus 6. Other changes included in the update are the ability to schedule do-not-disturb (DND) mode, added dual-4G network options and optimize call quality.
