OnePlus 5 launched by Oneplus in June but just after four months of launch it went out of stock in the USA. So what does it mean? It looks like a successor of Oneplus 5 is on its way. So according to the naming scheme of Oneplus the name will be the OnePlus 5T and it will release in November 2017. It is very similar to last year, Oneplus releases the OnePlus 3T just five months after the launch of OnePlus 3.
According to the latest leak, the most significant upgrade will be in the display department, with the screen size on the 5T will 6-inches with 2160 x 1080p resolution and this is 18:9 aspect ratio display. Many manufacturers like LG, Oppo, and Vivo released 18:9 smartphones this year. The OnePlus 5 comes with Snapdragon 835, 8GB RAM and other powerful specs, so it will be interesting to see what Oneplus will bring to the new Oneplus 5T.
With the latest low resolution render it looks like Oneplus 5T draw its inspiration from the Galaxy S8 on the front. The design is almost bezel-less design on the sides and thin bezels on the top and bottom. This leaked render looks very much similar to the recently leaked OPPO F5 as Oppo and Oneplus have the same parent company.
But OnePlus has not confirmed the launch of OnePlus 5T, but there are indications that it might come soon. The OnePlus 5 is out of stock in many countries including the USA.
Still, we have to wait for the official announcement from Oneplus which might come in some weeks. The launch will be around early November, so soon we are going to see the official Oneplus 5T.
