After so much of hype and leaks with the tagline, “Focus on what matters”. OnePlus has launched their flagship smartphone of this year “OnePlus 5” in India. They already launched the device globally on June 20. The main highlight of the device is the rear dual-camera setup and the performance of it.
The OnePlus 5 sports a traditional 5.5-inch full-HD Optic AMOLED display, which was the same from the predecessor. It is powered by the latest and greatest Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and is clocked up to 2.45GHz with Adreno 540 GPU. It also supports Dash Charge 2.0, which is the fastest among all the other brands and has a battery capacity of 3300 mAh (non-removable).
The most hyped part of this device is the camera. It has 16MP+20MP dual camera sensors on the rear with an aperture of f/1.7 and f/2.6 respectively. On the front, it comes with a 16 MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0. The camera is said to perform well and has some similar features of iPhone like Portrait Mode and much more.
The design of the device is similar with that of OPPO R11 and iPhone 7 Plus. The whole body of the device is made up of Anodized Aluminum. The OnePlus 5 runs on Android 7.0 with Oxygen OS on top which is optimised for better performance. The smartphone will come with all of the essential sensors like Fingerprint, Hall, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity, RGB Ambient Light Sensor, Electronic Compass, Sensor Hub.
The OnePlus 5 is going to available in two colours – Midnight Black, Slate Gray. There are two variants of the devices and the pricing is 6+64GB at Rs. 32,999 and 8+128GB storage variant is at Rs. 37,999. The device is exclusively available on Amazon.in.
