Nokia may launch Android Phones and Tablets at the end of Q4 2016

Nokia is set to make a comeback in smartphone industry after it was acquired by the Microsoft.  As per the reports, Nokia may launch Android powered Smartphones and Tablets by the end of this year.

Nokia has sold its smartphone business to Microsoft in 2014 for $7.2 Billion. The deal shall end in Q4 2016, till then Nokia has no rights to launch smartphones and tablets. Nokia is testing the two high-end smartphones featuring the latest Android Nougat 7.0. So we might expect Android Nougat powered device by the end of this year or early 2017.

HMD of Nokia has hired Pekka Rantala, who has 17 years of experience working with Nokia. Earlier, Pekka Rantala was the CEO of Angry Birds and now he will join as HMD Global as the CMO.
