Nokia 8 with 5.3-inch Quad HD display, 4GB RAM and Snapdragon 835 launched for Rs. 36999 in India

Nokia, which is now a part of HMD Global has launched their flagship smartphone Nokia 8 in India. The smartphone was announced with Dual Cameras and Snapdragon’s flagship chipset. It also has Zeiss Optics and OIS support and comes with IP54 rating splashproof. The body of Nokia 8 is made up of a single block of 6000 series aluminum, which comes with mirror finish.

Nokia 8 sports a 5.3-inch (2560×1440 pixels) Quad HD LCD display at 554ppi pixel density with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and has up to 700 nits of brightness. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU. Coupled with 4GB of DDR4X RAM and 64GB of (UFS 2.1) internal storage with expandable memory up to 256GB via microSD card. It runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat and can be upgradable to Android O.

Coming to the optics, it features a Dual 13MP (Color+Mono) sensors with 76.9-degree wide-angle lens, ZEISS optics, and OIS support. It has dual-tone LED Flash and comes with an aperture of f/2.0.  On the front, you can find the same 13MP autofocus sensor with ZEISS optics and a f/2.0 aperture. Nokia 8 also features OZO a 360-degree audio that uses the phone’s 3 microphones and Nokia acoustic technology algorithms to capture the sound in incredible detail then allows it to playback on the Nokia 8 and supported devices.

Nokia 8 has a 3090mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. The device will be available in Blue, Steel and Polished Copper colors with a price tag of Rs. 36,999. It will be available from October 14th on online markets such as Amazon.in and in select retail stores across India.
