Motorola has announced their latest flagships smartphone for 2019 the Moto Z3 which comes under their Z series lineup of smartphones. The smartphone also supports all the Moto Mods from the previous generations.
The Moto Z3 sports a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED 18:9 display. It is powered by last gen flagship SoC which is Snapdragon 835 coupled with 4gig of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage which is also expandable up to 2TB with microSD. It runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo.
In terms of camera, the Moto Z3 has a dual rear camera system which consists of a 12MP (monochrome + RGB) setup. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie shooter with wide-angle 84° lens. The device also packs Corning Gorilla Glass on the front and the back along with a lightweight and aircraft-grade 6000 serial aluminium frame.
The Moto Z3 also has a water-repellent nano-coating but no IP certification. It houses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and also packs dual front firing stereo speakers. It is backed up by a 3000mAh battery which supports Turbocharging via Type-C port on the device.
Moto has also announced the 5G Moto Mod which also doubles as 2000 mAh battery bank for the Z3. According to Moto, the Z3 will be the Z3 world’s first smartphone which can access the Verizon’s 5G Network when they will launch in 2019. The Moto Mod is powered by the Snapdragon X50 modem which can provide 5G connectivity to the device.
The Moto Z3 will only be available in Ceramic Black colour and it costs $480 ( roughly Rs.32,940). It is also available in contract system with Verizon at $20 a month for 24 months. The 5G Moto Mod will only be available exclusively in the US somewhere in 2019 but as of now, we don’t have any pricing info on the 5g Moto Mod.
