As promised Lenovo is up with their Moto Z and Moto Z Play in India. Launched today in India, the modules Moto Mods will be available along with the devices itself.
Moto Z sports a 5.5-inch AMLOED Quad-HD display running on Android Marshmallow out of the box. It gets a powerful Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor on top of 4 GB RAM. It weighs about 133 grams and 5.19 mm thick which is light and slim. They had to comprise with 3.5 mm jack and the battery. The USB Type-C is loaded inside with mere 2,600 mAh battery. On the back, it has a 13-megapixel camera with OIS, Laser autofocus, and Dual LED correction flash. The phone chips in a 5 MP front shooter.
On the other hand, the Moto Z Play variant comes with few lesser specs but a great battery. It has 5.5-inch 1080P Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass support. Moto Z play boasts 2GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It features Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box and is expected to get a Nougat update soon after the launch. It loads 3 Gigs of RAM with 32/64 GB of internal storage and has an expandable storage up to 2 TB. The Moto phone shoots 16-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash, Laser Autofocus, and PDAf. It flaunts 5-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash and wide angle lens. The device supports fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C. It has Moto Mods for added functionality. The semi-modular phone gets the power from the 3,510 mAh battery with Turbo charging.
The Moto Z is priced at Rs. 39,999 whereas the Moto Z Play is priced at Rs. 24,999. They will be available exclusively available at Amazon.in and Flipkart starting from midnight of 17th October 2016. Moto Mods will also be available for sale separately and as a bundle starting at Rs. 899.
