After the launch of Moto G6 series and Moto E5 series, Moto has officially announced the Moto E5 Play smartphone in the UK. The Moto E5 is an Android Go edition smartphone which means it runs Android Oreo (Go Edition) which is just a stripped down version of the stock Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Moto E5 Play sports a 5.34-inch 18:9 display with a resolution of FWVGA+. It so powered by the Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The device is backed by a slightly mediocre 2100mAh battery.
The Moto E5 Play features only a single 8MP rear camera with an LED Flash. There is also a 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash. The front earpiece also act as a loudspeaker and the rear Moto dimple is also a fingerprint scanner. It is a dual sim device with 4G VoLTE support.
The Moto E5 Play will be available in Black, Dark lake and Flash grey colours and it costs €109 roughly Rs. 8,730) in Europe. On the other hand, it is priced £99.95 (roughly Rs. 9,060) in the UK. It will go on sale this month only in the UK, Europe and Latin America. But there is no word about the Indian launch.
