Good news for those who complain on Micromax about “Made in China” tag. Micromax had begin to manufacture their smartphones at Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand in India. Now you will see “Made in India” tag on the back of the phone. Earlier they used to manufacture only LED Televisions and Tablets at Rudraprayag. But now all the phones will begin to manufacture at this place.
Micromax holds second largest share of smartphones and tablets in India. Micromax is the first Indian brand to launch its flagship phone outside of India. As we know the company offers budget friendly smartphones thanks to mediatek processors. From now Micromax smartphones would be even cheaper, as they are manufacturing in India.
Hope other Indian brands like Xolo,Celkon and Karbonn would follow the foot steps of Micromax. On the other hand Micromax users are eagerly waiting for kitkat update. Not a single handset from Micromax running Android 4.4 kitkat.
