Micromax, the leading Indian domestic smartphone maker is planning to launch a new canvas phone. The company has named the device as Micromax Canvas Spark which is going to budget friendly device. After the entry of Xiaomi and Motorola , the company is slowly loosing its market.
Xiaomi Redmi 2 and Moto E 2nd gen 3G are leading the market under sub 7k category. So, Micromax is coming up with Canvas Spark to compete against Redmi 2 and Moto E 2nd Gen. As of now we there is no official information on canvas spark. According to the sources, the phone could be priced around Rs 6000.The teaser shows us that Canvas Spark will run on latest Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box.
The canvas phone may be of 4.7 inch size ( no info on pixel resolution ). It is also expected that canvas spark could feature Mediatek MT6582 quadcore processor. You can find this chipset on number of budget smartphones which are even cheaper. On twitter Snapdeal and Micromax teased this device with sparksfly contest.
