Micromax Launches Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro For Rs. 13999

At the event today in Delhi, Micromax recently unveiled their new redesigned logo and with that they also launched their new list of devices which includes a bunch of phones, tablets and LED TVs too. Here is the list of new phones launched.

Among these phones, the highlights were their new flagship phones – the Canvas 6 and the Canvas 6 Pro both priced at Rs. 13,999.

The Micromax Canvas 6 features an all-metal unibody design and packs in a 5.5-inch Full HD display. Inside, we get a 64-bit MediaTek MT6795m SoC, Tru Octa-core 2.0GHz chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is a 13MP camera on the back while an 8MP camera is in charge of selfies. Powering it all is a 3000mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner on the back completes the package.

The Canvas 6 Pro sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display, the same 64-bit MediaTek MT6795m, Tru Octa-core 2.0GHz SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. We get a 13MP primary camera on the back and 5MP unit up front. The smartphone is powered by a 3000mAh battery.

Micromax also announced that the service that was previously called as Around Yu, is now going to be a part of these two smartphones, and a part of every other Micromax phone launched today.

We saw everything as expected from a mid-range premium phone but there’s something that makes us feel like why the need of two devices. Micromax has to answer this question. We’ll find out more about these devices in the full review later on when we’ll get our hands on these devices.
