Xiaomi launched its most premium device up till date the Mi Mix 2 in India and will start selling on October 17 exclusively via Flipkart. Only one variant of the device is launched in India which is priced at Rs 35,999, and Xiaomi is also introducing a 0 percent EMI scheme for the device.
The Mi Mix 2 sports a stunning 5.99-inch bezel-less display with a resolution of 2160X1080P at a PPI of 403 pixels per inch. The display uses an aspect ratio of 18:9 which almost stretches from edge to edge with a screen to body ratio of 93 percent. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SOC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which cannot be expanded. The earpiece on the Mi Mix 2 is situated on the tiny gap on top of the display, and it is claimed that this earpiece delivers high-quality audio.
On the camera side, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 packs a 12MP primary camera with 4-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS) and this camera unit is same as found on Mi6. For selfies, it packs a 5MP front shooter. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 runs on MIUI 9 which is based on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat). The device is powered by a 3400mAh non-removable battery and weighs only 185.00 grams.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a dual SIM device with support for all 43 bands, and Xiaomi claims that the Mi Mix 2 has the maximum number of bands among all smartphones across the world. It also features NFC.
Xiaomi has launched only one version of Mi Mix 2 which 6GB RAM & 128GB storage variant. It will be selling on October 17 exclusively via Flipkart at price of Rs 35,999. Xiaomi also launched Mi Noise Cancelling Earphones with a USB Type-C which are priced at Rs 2,999.
