Meizu M5 Note Announced in China

Meizu has announced their new device out in China at an event there. It’s the successor to the phones available in the Note series and is to be called the M5 Note.

Meizu M5 Note comes with a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080) LTPS 2.5D curved glass display. Under the hood, it has an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz with Mali T860 GPU. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with Flyme OS 6.0 UI running on top of it.

The M5 Note comes in two variants – a 3 GB variant with 16 GB and 32 GB memory option and a 4 GB variant with 64 GB variant. Although, the storage can be expanded via the microSD card slot up to 128 GB. It has a 13 MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing camera on the other hand. It comes with a fingerprint sensor and comes with connectivity features like 4G voLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. It juices up itself with a 4,000 mAh battery for the larger variant and a 3,920 mAh battery for the lower variant.

The Meizu M5 Note will be available in 4 colors – Gray, Silver, Champagne Gold, and Blue. The 3 GB variant with 16 GB variant is priced at 899 yuan (Rs. 8,880 approx.) whereas the 32 GB variant is priced at 999 yuan (Rs. 9,870 approx.). On the other hand, the 4 GB variant with 64 GB will be available for 1499 yuan (Rs. 14,810 approx.) and the M5 Note will be available for pre-order from today in China and will go on sale on December 8th.
