Its official that Micromax Yu Yureka will get Android Lollipop 5.0 update. Yu Yureka was released few months back with high end specs with low price tag of 8999 INR. At the launch they promised to release lollipop update for Yu Yureka and now its confirmed.
The official Yu twitter handle confirms the update with the image. The image doesn’t reveal the official release date of lollipop update for Yureka. You can expect the update around Mid April or end of the month. On the other hand Xolo One and Android One Smartphones started receiving the latest android update. Micromax already announced Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Canvas Series.
To remind you, Micromax Yureka comes 5.5 inch screen with Cyanogen Mod 11s. It has 2 gigs of RAM with 16 GB of internal storage. There is 13 MP camera on the back and has 5 MP selfie Camera. The phone runs on Qualcomm Snpadragon 615 Octacore Processor. Although the specs sounds great but there are lot of bugs which can improved with the Lollipop update.
After the update, Yu Yureka users will get improved UI with Material Design. The battery performance will certainly improved. Yu Yureka running on Android 5.0 with Cyanogen Mod, Sounds awesome right ! So Yu users just have patience and wait for the next update from Yu developers.
